Welcome to Palazzo Brunamonti

A thirteenth-century palazzo in the heart of Bevagna, where every stone has a story to tell
Palazzo Brunamonti stands where the Roman baths of Mevania once were. Two thousand years of history, layer upon layer, beneath the same bricks. As you climb the stairs, your hands brush against medieval walls that have held this house for eight centuries. In the rooms, vaulted ceilings and solid-wood furnishings preserve the atmosphere of the home of Alinda Bonacci Brunamonti — poet, intellectual, and one of nineteenth-century Umbria's most remarkable women.

Then as now, guests are welcomed here as one of the family — not as a booking reference.

Why guests come back

Three eras beneath your feet

From the Roman entrance to the medieval walls and the nineteenth-century vaulted ceilings: history here is not told — it is walked through.

In the heart of Bevagna

Thirty steps from the front door to Piazza Silvestri. No transfers, no parking to find: step outside and you are already in the village

Guests, not customers

A family-run property that turns check-in into a genuine welcome — with personal recommendations on local wineries, walking trails, and hidden corners.

The perfect base for exploring

Assisi is twenty minutes away, Montefalco and its Sagrantino wine country ten minutes, and the Valle Umbra cycle path is just outside the town walls. Every journey begins at the front door.

A historic palazzo for your events, in the heart of Bevagna

Rooms with centuries of history

Frescoed ceilings and medieval walls as the setting for meetings, workshops and presentations that no one forgets.

Unobtrusive technology

Coffee breaks worth savouring

Breaks with local produce: Umbrian pastries, local olive oil on freshly baked bread, and coffee served as it would be at home.

Team building in the village

After the working session, Piazza Silvestri is thirty steps away. Dinner at the town’s trattorias, a Sagrantino tasting, evening strolls through the medieval streets.
